CUCUMBERS SATURN H
4770168102347
An early yielding, salad-type, self-pollinating hybrid. Grows in pots on open balconies and in greenhouses covered with plastic. The fruit is green, very tasty, with a good texture, 30-35 cm long, 290-320 g in weight. The hybrid is resistant to viral and fungal diseases, a resistance which will allow a good quality crop to be produced without the use of chemical inputs and in accordance with agrotechnical requirements.
The optimum temperature for seed germination is +27-28 °C. 1-2 seeds are sown in pots and the strongest seedling is planted in a permanent growing place. Cucumber seedlings take 25-30 days to grow. Additional light is required when growing seedlings in February.
Plant 1 seedling per 1 m².
10 seeds are sufficient for an area of 9-10 m2 – a predicted yield of 45-60 kilograms under favourable growing conditions.
