A perennial plant grown as an annual. Ornamental, grows to 50 cm, evergreen, grey foliage. It is a low-maintenance plant for sunny and hot sites. It has silvery-grey leaves and small yellow flowers. Suitable for dry bouquets and compositions, it can be planted at the edges of flower beds and paths. It does not require special soil conditions and grows well in poor sandy soils. It is excellent in compositions with other brightly coloured flowers. It is a great addition to summer arrangements on terraces and balconies. Although it does not overwinter in flowerbeds, it remains decorative even in cold weather. The mildly curry-scented leaves are suitable for flavouring soups, sauces, vegetable, rice and meat dishes.
