PEA ALEXANDRA
PEA ALEXANDRA
Early variety appreciated for delicious, green, sweet peas. A pod contains approx. 10 peas. The plants are of medium height – 60 cm tall. Can be grown without supports as plants are self-supporting. Suitable for fresh consumption or freezing. Matured pods should be picked; peas that are not overgrown are the most delicious. Pods mature 12 days after their appearance. It is very important for the bed in which peas will be sown to be free of weeds. Peas should be sown as early as possible. To ensure long cropping, maturing plants should be sufficiently watered. Prefers sunny location, well-cultivated, loamy or sandy soil rich in humus, permeable to water and air.
15 g – approx. 45–100 seeds.
15 g for 9–12 m² area; predicted yield under favourable growing conditions 2–3 kg.
